Industry stalwart, Schiavello, was established in 1966 by the young Schiavello brothers. Starting out as humble partition suppliers the business has grown exponentially - not only do they design and manufacture high-end office furniture that is sold globally, but they have expanded into a construction group that offers an integrated service spanning construction, furniture, products and workplaces strategies.
In addition to strong thinking around sustainability, Schiavello value a culture of learning and entrepreneurship, striving to continuously challenge their own thinking and working collaboratively in order to create value, drive innovation and deliver the best possible solutions for their customers and clients.
In terms of their furniture collections, one such collaboration is with Australian interior architect, Ivan Woods. Woods’ career spanned more than 30 years, specialising in commercial interiors, workspace design and products, he drew inspiration from his travels, working on multiple projects across the UK, US, Germany and Italy. Woods and Schiavello shared a mutual passion for creating inspirational environments, operating under the principle that designs and products must empower both the people using it and the environment in which it is placed.
From this successful partnership the “Kayt” collection was borne.
In this collection, Woods’ typical restrained lines and fine detailing give subtle personality to each piece. Touted as an invitation to comfort and luxury, Kayt’s minimalist design creates an elegance of form that rivals the best contemporary pieces in the market. It’s this subtle design that also allows this range to fit seamlessly into any environment; from breakout and reception areas, to retail settings or home/apartment living areas.
We have the Kayt available in a 3-seater sofa and side chair, upholstered in a variety of colours. The sofa in a stunning sky blue, the chairs in a unique burnt orange pattern, and a subtle charcoal grey. All complimented by a 4-leg polished chrome base.
Projecting both poise and purpose, the Kayt is a striking addition to any space.
